Launch it properly, and it’ll rocket from 0–100 km/h in 4.7 seconds before running into its 250 km/h limiter. That wide torque band (2,100–5,500 rpm) means it always feels alive, no matter what gear you’re in.
Backing that up is an updated seven-speed S tronic gearbox that snaps through shifts quicker than ever, with improved turbo pre-loading that keeps the engine always ready to pounce. It’s one of those setups that makes even a grocery run feel like a qualifying lap.
Quattro Gets Smarter: Meet the Torque Splitter
Borrowed straight from the RS 3, the new torque splitter gives the S3 a more playful and balanced personality. It can now send power independently to each rear wheel, meaning tighter corner exits and better traction when you’re really leaning on it.
Depending on which Audi drive select mode you’re in, torque is distributed precisely to the wheel that needs it most — and in Dynamic Plus mode, the system even encourages a touch of oversteer. Think less understeer, more grin.
Suspension That Speaks Your Language
Underneath, the S3’s S sport suspension has been honed for sharper turn-in and improved stability. Stiffer wishbones and revised pivot bearings allow for more negative camber, translating into better lateral grip when carving through twisty backroads.
The optional adaptive dampers are perfectly tuned to complement the torque splitter, adapting in real-time to your driving mood. A new Electronic Stabilisation Control system also plays its part, subtly braking inner wheels during hard cornering for that precise, planted feel Audi’s known for.
Bigger Brakes, More Bite
With extra power comes extra stopping responsibility. Up front, the 357 mm ventilated and perforated discs are now thicker and paired with two-piston calipers, offering stronger, more consistent braking. They sit behind 19-inch wheels (three designs available), and red calipers are standard — because every quick car deserves a bit of drama.
Design: Sportier, Bolder, Meaner
Visually, this S3 looks angrier. The Singleframe grille is now flatter and wider, flanked by massive air intakes that add menace. A new front spoiler with vertical struts lowers the car’s stance, while the reworked rear bumper and quad tailpipes leave no doubt about its intentions.
New colour options like District Green, Ascari Blue, and Progressive Red join the range — plus a striking Daytona Grey polar matt finish for those who like to stand out.
Tech-Infused Interior
Inside, the S3 remains the model of restrained sportiness. There’s a new flat-bottomed steering wheel, illuminated inlays, and ambient lighting that gives it a proper modern edge. The digital side of things is handled by the 10.1-inch MMI touch display and Audi virtual cockpit, both standard.
For 2025, drivers can even choose between four daytime running light signatures via the infotainment menu — because personality shouldn’t stop at your headlights.
